CASE HISTORY

Connecting Heritage and Shaping the Future

“Connecting Heritage and Shaping the Future” was the core theme of the States General of Digital Innovation in Culture, a major national event held in Rome on December 10–11, 2025.

Promoted by the Italian Ministry of Culture, the event represented a key strategic moment aimed at defining a shared vision for the digital transformation of Italy’s cultural heritage. Through dialogue between institutions, the research community, and the industrial sector, the initiative outlined a national strategy that integrates technological innovation with the preservation and enhancement of cultural assets.

CONCEPT

The documentary presents a vision in which the preservation of cultural heritage is combined with innovation and sustainable development. Technology becomes an enabling tool to enhance cultural assets, expand their accessibility, and make them available to a broader and more diverse audience.

RESULT

A narrative that conveys the evolution of the concept of cultural heritage: from an asset to be preserved to a shared, living resource, capable of generating value through digital technologies and contributing to the growth of the country’s cultural ecosystem.

Cultural heritage is not only something to protect, but something to share: a legacy that, through technology, becomes accessible, inclusive, and future-oriented.
